…this time from the fabulous Elle Black:
“FABULOUS! I absolutely loved every minute of working with Richard. He is charming, funny, flattering, and works hard to create great shots. He had great comms before hand, came prepared with plenty of ideas but was also up for suggestion, and is fun through and through. Extremely highly recommended!”
Really chuffed!
Learn MoreIt’s been a while since I updated, but I’m pleased to be able to say that I’m finally shooting the fabulous Elle Black soon. We’ve been trying to arrange something for over a year now so it’s good to finally get something in the diary.
Also in the diary is London Fashion Weekend: yes, I’ve been invited to do a catwalk shoot at the Vodafone London Fashion Weekend by Canon. I’m really looking forward to shooting some more fashion as it’s been a while.
And finally, as always I’m buying props for my kit bag. This includes the latest purchases: some Pleaser Domina 101 leather mules in a couple of different sizes and yet more Jimmy Choos. I did a quick stocktake this evening and the non-Jimmy Choos are pictured below. Maybe I should stop buying shoes for a while?
Well I’d just bought another ring flash adaptor for fashion/portraiture stuff which arrived on Saturday, so when I went to collect it, I had an unstructured shoot with an old friend and alternative model, Alexa Star.
Just mucking about really for an hour or so but we got some fun images, which are in the Lifestyle portfolio:

So there I was, reading the latest issue of “GO” Magazine, which is Kawasaki UK’s magazine for its Kawasaki Riders Club. Reading it – literally – from cover to cover, I saw my photo from Saint-Julien-du-Tournel on the back cover:
Now where’s my licence fee for the photo?

A few more images from our recent shoot: some lifestyle and then some glamour/tease images that Marlyn’s so good at!

A weekend shoot with the lovely Marlyn Lindsay saw us trying a Catwoman theme and then some secretarial lifestyle and tease shoots.
As always, Marlyn and I had a great laugh – I love working with her – and now I need to work on the edits; in the meantime, I’ve had a quick play with a couple of images so far: they’re in my Fetish portfolio page:

Ooh! I appear to have a bought a new pair of Versace stiletto mules for the prop bag! Anyone fancy trying them out?

Learn MoreAfter my test shoot with Polly Lockitt produced some great results, I was very pleased to receive this recommendation from Polly over on Purestorm:
Learn More“I had a lovely shoot with Richard recently, at my home. Richard is professional, respectful, friendly and well mannered. The time flew by! I very much enjoyed working with Richard and I can not wait for our second shoot! I highly recommend Richard to all models. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Richard for a great shoot and see you soon, x”
Well, despite my growing concern that I’m working with the fabulous Anita De Bauch too often – she seems to have become my ‘go-to model’ – I did a Hollywood-themed shoot at Chez De Bauch at the weekend. Anita was the perfect hostess, making me decent coffee and laying on some snacky goodness during the shoot too!
Edits are being done when I can find some time, but in the meantime, I’ve uploaded a couple to the Headshots and Lingerie pages:
Learn MoreMy photo of @AnitaDeBauch – “Black on Black” – has won a Highly Commended Award from ePHOTOzine http://t.co/XVU14K1

A great shoot at the weekend with the multi-talented Anita De Bauch, dodging the rain showers to shoot some street fashion latex-wear along the Thames as well as some lifestyle shots over a well-earned lunch.
It’s marvelous working with such a talented and professional model who’s also such a nice person!
It was also good to use my new Canon EOS 7D and the Speedlight as a ‘strobe’ off-camera.
Updates can be found in the Fetish and Lifestyle galleries.
Learn MoreInternational fetish and art nude model Anita De Bauch is now using some of my images in her main website portfolio.
I’m really flattered!
Learn MoreOK, that’s August accounted for: a shoot in Kent (outside and inside) and another shoot (street fashion, latex and mainstream lifestyle) with the fabulous Anita De Bauch, who’s also left me some great feedback over on Purestorm:
“I shot with Richard and Madame Bink at Light Spot Studio on 30th July and would happily do so again. He was punctual, friendly, polite and professional, and we were both delighted with the photos. I would highly recommend Richard to anyone and am already planning my next shoot with him!”
In other news, I’ve ordered some new kit: a Canon EOS-7D, Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens and a Canon Speedlite 580EX II flashgun for external work, mainly, though I may use it with my Bowens Gemini 200 Kit lights too as a trigger and bounce/fill-in flash.
Learn MoreOn Saturday, I had the studio shoot with Anita De Bauch and Madame Bink at LightSpotStudio, London that I’d previously mentioned. Anita works internationally as a fetish and art nude model. Bink works all over the place throughout Europe as an art nude model and the two of them have worked together before.
Both were really very professional, really friendly and a great laugh and they were simply phenomenal with their imagination and posing. Nothing was too hard or difficult and the poses they created were stunning. My job was so easy as both were so natural and so imaginative. I would thoroughly recommend both models and I can’t wait to work with Anita and Bink again! Oh and Anita makes fab cookies!
Images have been added to the Headshots, Art Nude and Fetish albums.
Learn MoreBack at the end of March, I did another shoot with the fabulous Marlyn Lindsay: a mixture of location shots and some shots at her studio.
I’m very pleased with the results, which can be seen in my Fetish portfolio.
Marlyn is another model I’ll be working with again and again!
Learn MoreWell that’s March fully booked now: an edgy shoot (both internal and location work) rounds off the month nicely! We’re just sourcing the right latex wear for it now.
April’s looking busy already (and a holiday abroad eats into the diary) but I may be able to take some bookings over the Bank Holiday weekend. E-mail me at click here to reveal the email address if you’d like to work with me: it would be nice to get a fresh look as well, so any new models would be particularly welcome on a TFP basis.
Learn MoreSaturday saw a shoot with Marlyn Lindsay and it was an absolute pleasure! She’s a true professional and a joy to ‘work’ with: a “can do” mentality with a wardrobe to die for!
Not only that, she was great fun too and I even got coffees and teas (and biscuits and an offer of food)!
We’ve already got some ideas for further shoots and I would recommend her in an instant to anyone wanting to work with a fantastic model. The first model I’ve ever got through an entire memory card with (and more): the poses, outfits and ideas were coming thick and fast. If you’re a photographer, do yourself a favour and book her up!
She also left me some great feedback on Purestorm:
“Had an absolutely great shoot with Richard today. From the outset, he makes you feel at ease and comfortable. Had some really great ideas and the shoot just flew by.
I would more than happily recommend Richard to any model, he really is a joy to work with.
Thank you for a great afternoon, I look forward to seeing the results and working with you again soon.
Marlyn x”
Some of the results can be seen in my Lingerie and Art Nude, Artistic, Fashion and Pin-Up portfolios.

February dates are now all filled and I’m already booked into March: at the moment I have two (possibly more) vacant slots that I’m looking to fill, preferably with new models or some semi-experienced models looking for some additional images to expand their portfolios.
E-mail me at click here to reveal the email address if you’d like to discuss themes with me. I can probably do a weekend slot for those modelling part-time.
Learn MoreAs the subject line goes, I’ve a busy weekend ahead, starting off with a meeting of the London Creative Network – click here to visit them on Facebook – followed by two shoots in London and Luton. I can see a lot of late nights coming up going through the images looking for the best ones to use!
Watch this space for the results.
Learn MoreI have two remaining slots in February to fill, either on a TFP basis for mutual benefit or on a paid basis with the right professional model.
Please e-mail me at click here to reveal the email address if you’re interested and we can discuss themes, levels, ideas and rates.
Learn MoreI had a most enjoyable day yesterday doing a shoot with Playboy model Jo-Louise Kelsey. Despite suffering with the flu, she was the consummate professional: natural, ready to discuss ideas and superb in front of the camera (and not to mention stunning!). It was good to work with a truly professional model. Some of the results can be seen in the art nude, lingerie, lifestyle and headshots sections of this site: see my portfolio.
Slots have been filled – bar one! One more chance for a professional model to get some paid work in January with me. Please e-mail me at click here to reveal the email address if you’re interested and we can discuss themes and rates.
Learn MoreTwo shoots with professional models are booked already for December and a third tentative booking next week. Another booking is in the diary for early February, but that still leaves at least two January slots to fill.
Learn MoreI am looking to set up a number of photoshoots for January: various themes, studio-based or location-based.
Although I am in London, I would be happy to travel for the right collaboration: the right idea or the right model. If you’re interested, please get in touch by clicking on the following e-mail link (hidden from the Spammers!): webf…@rhmphotographic.com We can then discuss ideas and put things in place!
Learn MoreMy other passion is motorbikes, so it was a no-brainer to go to the 2010 Carole Nash Motorcycle Live show at the NEC Birmingham. Unfortunately, I was away for Trade Day when I usually go, so I ended up going on the busier, last Sunday of the show and got a couple of images for the Automotive gallery.
Learn MoreA week away in Corralejo and surrounding surfing areas of Fuerteventura has given me a whole load of new scenic and lifestyle shots plus a new headshot. I will be returning there again soon as I scouted for a load of locations whilst I was out there.
Learn MoreA productive weekend: a photoshoot/workshop with Janey Kay and a new model, Jane Gee, at Dean Wilkinson’s studio in Grimsby.
Dave Earnshaw (Analog-MP3) was on hand taking some photos too and tutoring me on lighting effects and tips. Thanks Dave!
Photos are in the Artistic album.
